Book Review: The Girl I Used to Be / April Henry, May 2016, Henry Holt & Co.
A bit of a change of pace for Henry, this book is not set in Alaska. A mystery though like her other works, this book has its share of thrills and a satisfying ending.

Olivia has been raised in foster homes since she was three years old. Her mother was killed then and her father hasn't been seen since. Everyone concluded long ago that he murdered her mother, dropping her off in a Walmart store. When she is 17 (and emancipated, with her GED), the police contact her to say some of her father's remains have been found. He was killed the same time as her mother. Olivia returns to her old home to try to find the killer.
